Watched misery on my birthday which was like a few days ago.
1. Mysterious skin: watching this twice back when I was 13 really altered my brain chemistry.
2. A clockwork orange: I also watched this at 13 2x. Stanley kubrick always does well
3. Antichrist: this one isn’t as talked about, but I also watched this at 13 or 14, and it was awesome. Really cool. However very disturbing, gave me nightmares.
4. Misery
5. Honorable mention: a serbian film. This movie is fucking ass. Just torture porn for the sake of torture porn. Fucking shitty ass movie.
i havent watched the clockwork orange film but ive read the book. Can someone (other than Meow) tell me if watching the film is worth it? Bc i already know the plot and all

Do you want to trust a sour, miserable and bitter wannabe movie “expert” who puts garbage torture porn films in his EUM top 10 list like “August Underground Mordum Maggot Cut” (#3) and “Tumbling Doll Of Flesh” (#10)? Or what about the numbskull that uses 200 aliases who has the screwball comedy “Eat” at #2 on his top 10 overall best movies on EUM? How about the moronic idiot that put “Tusk” in their top 35 films of all time? That’s kid’s stuff. Don’t rely on angry creeps who have been bitching and crying on here for over 3 years.
When it comes to excellence in movie reviews and movie lists, the only name you can trust is Old Mother Hubbard. Even staunch OMH haters have said that my Asian top 10 list is a “solid list overall.” That’s when you know you’re really doing something right.
So just to clarify how this rating thing looks from the admin end.
The first column is encrypted info about the user who rated. Since I don’t log your IP and your other info in cleartext (unencrypted), it looks like this.
The 2nd column is the rating.
The 3rd is the Unix timestamp.
The first rating (look at the earliest timestamp) was a 4 followed by a number of 1s and so on.
Honestly, these things shouldn’t matter too much, because given enough time, they tend to even out, even if someone’s playing unfair.
Actually if you don`t give a fuck you should still rate it 1 because the system is biassed and it takes a lot of ones to bring down a double 5. You should even visit your library so you can also give it a double 1. In truth anything below 3.5 if an indication no one gives a shit. Sadly as of writing its 3.9. If the doommonger was honest he would give the threashold number but he aint. He is just a tootsie that is feeling very hungry.
Really funny how my lists always seem to have a low rating. I wonder who could be doing that.

I never really think of Clockwork Orange as manistream but thats mainly because it was unavailable in the UK for so long. My first copy was a ropey VHS from Holland. It took years before The Scala played it and The Scala was mainly a gore and porn venue….I mean art films.
Not a fan of the serbian film mainly because its first hour is pure melodrama. Its only after the baby fucking it gets any value.
Gave it a 4 only because you called A Serbian film torture porn. Solid list overall.
