Honestly, this movie actually scared me. The last time a horror movie truly scared me was years ago, and even that was pretty tame. The only time I’ve been genuinely scared was when I watched The Blair Witch Project as a kid.
I love the cinematography and music in this movie. Now, it might not seem too scary at first, but just imagine being trapped in a body, losing the ability to do anything, being forced to watch yourself kill your friend, and having sex with a guy who put a curse on you.
The most disturbing scene for me was when the Real Nikki was begging Bear to just kill her, and Bear says “What’s so bad about being with me?” And then Nikki replies “I’ve never been with you, Bear”. And then Bear just leaves.
This move is actually good.
