“Old Mother Hubbard’s Top 12 Favorite Kitchen Nightmares Episodes”
1. “Luigi’s D’Italia” – Season 5 Episode 4 – Luigi’s wife Grace has an epic meltdown.
2. “Down City” – Season 4 Episode 7 – Owner Abby’s meltdown is legendary.
3. “Fiesta Sunrise” – Season 2 Episode 10 – Owner Vic is super detestable. Plus, a really odd back story to what happened after Gordon left involves a murder and a sex change operation.
4. “Casa Roma” – Season 3 Episode 7 – Chef Eric gets fired for being an asshole.
5. “Charlie’s” – Season 5 Episode 14 – Owner Tatiana drives her mother and her sister in to bankruptcy.
6. “Campania” – Season 1 Episode 9 – Owner Joseph Cerniglia was 39 years old when he committed suicide in September 2010, 3 years after this episode aired. He was heavily in to cocaine and he was distraught when his wife found out he was having an affair with one of the waitresses. Cerniglia took his own life by jumping from the George Washington Bridge into the Hudson River.
7. “Classic American” – Season 4 Episode 2 – Owners Colleen and Naomi are on the verge of economic collapse until Ramsay saves the day. A heart warming episode.
8. “Blackberry’s” – Season 5 Episode 1 – Owner Sherry is an ungrateful asshole big time.
9. “Sam’s Mediterranean Kabob Room” – Season 6 Episode 9 – Owner Sam forces all his kids to work in the restaurant for free. The 2 daughters are gorgeous.
10. “Spin-A-Yarn Steakhouse” – Season 5 Episode 13 – Owner Saki’s spoiled trophy wife Jennifer sinks over a million dollars in to redecorating the restaurant which puts their future in jeopardy.
11. “Levanti’s Italian Restaurant” – Season 6 Episode 8 – Brother and sister owners Dino and Tina are just bizarre. Dino tells Gordon that the recipe for a sauce he made for a dish was told to him by God. Sam, the waitress, is fabulous.
12. “Amy’s Baking Company” – Season 6 Episode 16 – The most famous Kitchen Nightmare’s episode of all. Owners Samy and especially Amy provoke feelings of intense hatred and they certainly made it in to the Kitchen Nightmare’s Hall of Fame.
There are 113 episodes of Kitchen Nightmares and most of them are really good. New lists soon for best of “Hotel Hell” and “24 Hours: To Hell and Back.”
An honorable mention goes out to:
“Gordon Behind Bars,” a 4-episode documentary that followed Ramsay as he spent six months at HMP Brixton in London to teach inmates how to bake and help them start a commercial enterprise called the “Bad Boys Bakery.”
Good news! Since this list was so successful I will be putting together “Old Mother Hubbard’s NEXT 12 Favorite Kitchen Nightmares Episodes” and it should be available maybe even as soon as July.
Have a great day everyone!
Admin. Can we all repost lists we posted before.
i liked one of the first episodes where one of the dudes had super dilated pupils and argued with Ramsey and then pathetically tripped on his way out.
I also really liked the one with the crazy French guy 🤣
It’s July and this wigger still making lists.
