Top 10 Favorite Films On EUM

I love this site so much. And I’ve been here for a long time. Realized the other day that I haven’t yet put anything out with my top favorite films on here. Not that anyone has to care. But I am interested in who likes or hates which any on my list, or what they might recommend to watch next based on my list.

Also, join me in listing your top 10 favorite movies on our beloved EUM. First, here are mine:

1) Antichrist- This epic masterpiece from my spirit animal Lars Von Trier, is my favorite film of all time. So of course, it takes the top spot. But only the strong need apply to this one.

2) Any Evil Dead Movie Here…Goes Here. That’s all. 😂

3) Audition- Oh my God I love this movie. Been watching it ever since I first saw it at 14 and it’s still EVERYTHING. I own the collectors edition blue ray mediabook , (like I do Antichrist and all the Evil Dead movies so I’ve never actually watched either on here) so while I’ve technically never watched it here, I know it IS here. And all I can say about it is, serial killing is such a delight…and bitches be crazy. 😂 but seriously, it’s way more fun to just watch it knowing nothing going in.

4) Martyrs- This film is as visceral and mean as it is powerful and brilliantly written and performed. However I can sum it up with one sentence: Sometimes you can shed the skin of old traumas, but sometimes they will shoot you in the head when you least expect it. 😏 That’s this movie in one sentence. 😉

5) Oldboy- This incredible, highly original film is a true masterpiece and one of my favorite films of all time. It’s in my top 5 anywhere too, not just here. I’m not gonna big it up more because most people on here already know about it and have seen it. If you don’t, you need to stop reading this, and go watch it. Now. Right now.

6) Lilya 4-Ever- Oh God, Lilya. Inspired from a true story, not many films can break my tiny black 🖤, especially on here, but this one does. I can count on one hand how many films I’ve actually teared up to in my life. And this is one of them. (The other? Von Trier’s Dancer In The Dark). Writer/director Lukas Moodysson is a master here, and illicit’s stellar performances from the two leads who had, unbelievably as it may seem, never acted before. Partially shot in my beloved Sweden, it’s a film that will forever speak to me. And it’s a tragic tale every time she does. Because Lilya is 4-ever.

7) Bad Biology- Unlike the films above on this list, where misery is their subtitle, this is a B movie that’s fun as fuck. If you haven’t seen it, check it out. It’s great for a good laugh and great tits. And crazy looking cocks.😂

8) Bedevilled- Sometimes we get exactly what we deserve, but most of the time we get what we don’t. And sometimes, we get completely fucked over when we don’t deserve it AT ALL. But most of us do deserve it. Except for the rare person who doesn’t. But that makes no difference in the end. Life is indiscriminate. That’s this Korean gem of a movie. That I really like…until I don’t. If you know, you know.

9) A Clockwork Orange- I’ve been watching this film since I was like 12, because I love it and always will. I still say “milk plus” sometimes when the word “milk” is spoken around me…because I’m SO mature 😂 but it’s a sure way to know what strangers could be your friends in a group setting. It’s the person who knows the reference of course! But for you who is reading this: if I need to actually tell you anything else about this classic, brilliant, beloved by me film, the following is all I’m telling you because you don’t belong here: this film is a Stanley Kubrick masterclass in filmmaking with a legendary performance by Malcolm McDowell that is legitimately one of the greatest performances in the history of film.

10) May- It may be basic and well known, but I’ll always love it. Cause she’s just so fucking wierd and I love HER 🖤 I love the film Excision the same way for the same reasons and it could easily go here as well. Both are also rather funny at times too.

There are many others I love on this site, movies that are much darker with more gore and violence and tabu shit, but the ones above are my absolute favorite. I’ll list the others sometime, but not this time. Oh, and the film Misery could go at 11, Dogtooth at 12, and Mysterious Skin at 13.
