Senthil – Septisemesis
People call this torture doom metal, and I can hear why. Really difficult to listen to for the first couple of times but for me it’s pretty enjoyable now.
Xasthur – Trauma Will Always Linger
The first times I listened to this it felt like being thrown in a black pit filled with the things that disgust me the most, the worst things I’ve been through. For lyrics enjoyers, yeah, those are pretty nasty too.
Enmity – Source of the Dead River
The feel, the vocals, the instrumentals, it’s got everything to get me all creeped-out. Well, the first few times I listened to it, now, after years, it’s one of my favorite black metal/dark ambient tracks, but I still remember the creepiness of walking around in the woods at night while listening to this 8 years ago.
Cities Last Broadcast – The Sitting
This will be a strange one for most people that will try to give it a listen. What’s so disturbing about this? For me, the silence.
CLB is a project of Kammarheit, one of my favorite dark ambient bands.
Aghast – The Darkest Desire
RIP Nebenfee. Aghast was a dark ambient band that had that really funeral, witchy, cursed vibe about it. The woman behind it got killed in the 2000’s in a knife attack. For me this song sounds like it’s about necrophilia, (“Kiss the lips of a dead man”), but Idk about you.
Inhale – Breathing Water
This one is not as much disturbing as it is unnerving and creepy, but hey, I’m making this list, so… The slowed-down dialogue parts from the movie The Mothman Prophecies make this *chef’s kiss* (hey, that rhymed).
Bell Witch – Beneath The Mask
I’ve been listening to this on repeat since yesterday. Dialogue parts from a movie based on an A.A. Poe story, the instrumentals make it really dreary and fit perfectly to the vibe of getting tortured by living soot inside an endless lucid nightmare.

Will definitely listen to these! I like Skinless Whimper by Fipohayo, but the whole album itself is nice to listen to : D
