Let me clarify I love everything about Outlast with all my heart. I hate absolutely nothing about any of the games, but I do have my favourites.
1. Outlast 1: I’m sure most people agree with this one. I played it years ago and it’s still EMBEDDED INTO MY HEAD!!! It genuinely scared me. I tried replaying it but it’s too scary for me. I love it so much and I have read every document. I tried doing insane mode but it didn’t go well.
2. This is definitely really tricky. I haven’t played any of the Outlast games aside from Trials for years so of course I don’t have the best memory. But I think I’ll maybe say… HM… Whistleblower. It took me very long to come up with that answer! I honestly would’ve said Outlast 2 but the school flashbacks just annoyed me at times. I know everyone and their mum complains about that but I hated when it took me right out of a scenes immersion.
3. Outlast 2: I know I just insulted it slightly but I still love it and would put it up in my top ten horror games list. May need to watch a gameplay of it on YouTube so I can remind myself a bit about it. I loved the atmosphere of this game. Don’t get the hate for this one honestly.
4. The Outlast Trials: I have around 700 hours on this game, I love it, but it doesn’t feel entirely like Outlast. It’s very fun, I love the lore and also the atmosphere. But it just isn’t very Outlast etiquette. I enjoy getting more lore updates with it however. The player base and fan base is okay but more cringey than the ones for the other Outlast games. Most of these people don’t even know Jeremy from Whistleblower which is insane. I like the vibe of the Amelia escape theme in the Trials because it reminds me of the og Outlast games. The outfits are a little lazy at times but you can tell the devs genuinely care for this game UNLIKE MARVEL FUCKING RIVALS WHICH IS CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING ONE OF ITS WORST SEASONS EVER!!! Personally I don’t give a fuck because I only really play 18vs18 and occasionally comp, I think people are dramatic, but the devs are SO SHIT!
I am eager for:
-Outlast 3
-Outlast Movie
(I would cut my left arm off to see both of these be released tomorrow)
-Marvel Rivals season 11
-New Fortnite season (where the fuck is that The Boys collab?)
-The Boys Mexican spin off thing: will probably take like 2 years or even longer, writing will probably be shit, but I just want more content.
-Christmas
-Fireworks
-More songs for me to write (won 5 music awards already)
-Movie making stuff
-Other… business related stuff

An Outlast movie would be amazing but I’m sure they will fuck up the general feel of the universe esp the hospital in the first game it’s just such a specific feeling. Also will probably be produced by Blumhouse and directed by some trash who can’t do horror for shit like Mike Flannigan (Faggigan) god I hate that man. They could try something interest with a kind of prequel with Murkoff and maybe start with a Trials era kind of movie idk..
