“Old Mother Hubbard’s Top 5 Favorite Hotel Hell Episodes”

(Actually all of the “Hotel Hell” episodes are great but I’ll give you 5 to wet your whistle)

1. “Monticello Hotel” – Season 2 Episode 2 – Drunk multi millionaire owner Phillip Lovingfoss gets busted for DUI the day before Ramsay shows up to try to fix the hotel. Lovingfoss gets the number 1 spot for assholes in the series.

2. “Juniper Hill Inn, Parts One & Two” – Season 1 Episodes 1 & 2 – The 2 owners come in 2nd and 3rd in the biggest assholes in the series award.

3. “Calumet Inn” – Season 2 Episode 5 – 2 spoiled girls are given a historic hotel by their super rich father and proceed to run it in to the ground.

4. “Vienna Inn” – Season 3 Episode 2 – Owners Jonathon and Lisa Krach are swingers who have sex parties in the basement of the hotel, which grosses out the clientele. Lisa is super ungrateful for what Ramsay does to save their hotel. It burned down not long after this episode aired.

5. “Town’s Inn, Part 1 & 2” Season 3 Episodes 3 & 4 – Probably the grossest of the hotels that Ramsay tries to save (they are all pretty gross). Owner Karan Townsend admits to having diarrhea and shitting herself with some of it making it’s way on to the floor of one of the bedrooms. Ramsay’s bacteria meter goes off the charts. Anything over 30 is considered to be a high level of bacteria. In one room the meter read 8,795.

Bonus Episode:

6. “The Keating Hotel” – Season 1 Episode 4 – I had to throw this one in. While the chef of the restaurant is talking to Ramsay he collapses. 911 is called and the chef is rushed to the hospital. It’s pretty dramatic.

Anywho, like I said, all 22 of the “Hotel Hell” episodes are great and are definitely worth watching. Gordon Ramsay eventually stopped doing the show because of the high cost and effort it took to try to save hotels.
